Yes. While most grants are restricted to 501c3 nonprofits, each year there are more grants for folks partnering with a fiscal sponsor and individuals who are change makers, entrepreneurs, and artists. The Grant Glow Up Course will cover this material as well as help you identify where your best-fit grants are.
If you’re actually wondering whether you’ll “win” every application you submit, the surface answer is “no”. Apply for grants is a long game, meaning that grants are most effective if they are a PART of your income streams, not your ONLY income source when starting out.
The deeper answer is that as you submit more right-fit quality applications like you’ll learn in this course, you will increase the ratio of “yes’s” you receive and take the funding rejections less personally as “no’s” are an annoying and inevitable part of the system.
Grant writing is more about being a good listener (to what funders are asking for) and being a responsive and relevant writer.
Prior “professional” writing experience is not necessary, as learning the skill of grant writing is ultimately a tool to get you closer to your full funded project and change making dreams becoming reality.
Grants are not a get rich quick situationship. Each grant funder has their own process and timeframe for reviewing and awarding funds. In The Grant Glow Up Course you’ll learn how to make a grant calendar that supports the seasons and cycles of your project(s) so you will be prepared to take on or leave behind potential grant applications based on when the funder states their anticipated funding dates are compared to when you need the funding.
Yes, the skill of grant writing is incredibly valuable for anyone as the tools shared in The Grant Glow Up Course can be applied towards grants, client proposals, memorandums of understanding, letters of interest, etc.
AND - I would highly recommend that you do at least 5 minutes of online research within your own country context to confirm that grants are a legally allowed form of income. Doing so helps you set your own expectations for what might be possible in your grant writing journey.
There are grant opportunities open and available for all humans on earth, and also my expertise is from navigating the grant system within the United States of America.
For as long as the course exists, you will have access to it! If in the future I decide to no longer host the course, you will receive at least 90 days notice to be sure to review and download any materials you would like to continue using.
Should any questions arise regarding the course materials, you can utilize the “comment” feature within the course to ask any questions and I will get back to you within 5-7 business days. That mentorship support will similarly continue until the course is archived in the distant future.
